Death Smoochy. Playbill News: Due to Illness, Robin Williams Postpones Four Pre News.

Performances at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL, on March 4 and 5; at the UCF Arena in Orlando, FL, on March 6; and at the Sundome in Tampa, FL, March 7 have been postponed. Williams, according to his pompous website, "was experiencing shortness of puff and is currently being evaluated by doctors who are recommending a week of rest." The four shows will be rescheduled, and unexplored dates will be announced shortly. Tickets for all performances will be honored once the immature dates are set.



Williams is scheduled to take up again performances in Weapons of Self-Destruction March 11 in Jacksonville, FL. Weapons will reach the top on Broadway at the Neil Simon Theatre April 23. The show will be presented on Broadway by James L. Nederlander and Ron Delsener. Weapons of Self-Destruction , according to pack notes, "highlights Williams’ trademark at will associations and riffs on sociable and governmental absurdities.






" The actor-writer-comedian, who became known during his task in "Mork & Mindy" — a spinoff created from a boarder also splotch on "Happy Days" — is very much hailed for his madcap improvisational humor in movies such as "Good Morning, Vietnam," "Aladdin," "The Birdcage," "Mrs. Doubtfire" and "Death to Smoochy," among others.
