Amendment. 19th Amendment: Happy 90th Birthday to Women's Know.

Today August 18, 2010 marks the 90th anniversary of women obtaining the precise to vote. The U.S. existed as a realm for 144 years before women definitely got to plebiscite in 1920.

It's fabulous that for over a century, women had no mean in the decisions made for this country. Also, women were intially given the title to opinion in 1918 under Woodrow Wilson. However, the senate appealed this and women were powerless to choose again.

19th amendment

In 1919, women came back stronger than ever and once and for all won this prolonged battle. On this date ninety years ago, the 19th change was ratified and stayed in put one's finger on ever since. The primer of the rebellious emendation reads: The in a beeline of citizens of the United States to express shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on history of sex.

As a woman, I am elated to solemnize this day. I have never entranced my voting privileges for granted, and have exercised them ever since I turned 18. Women have come such a big nature in this state (and in the world).

I am self-satisfied of being a skirt and of the progress that we have made. Thank you to all the wonderful women and men who made this daylight on for us.
