Usain Bolt wins 100m in 9.91 seconds Hear.

Jamaican sprinter and time journal holder Usain Bolt claimed the 100 metres while paramour compatriot, Asafa Powell placed flash at the star-studded Golden Gala in Rome today. Powell, who had a allowable backing clocked 9.93 seconds, while Bolt who got off to a unhurried start, pulled from behind until he was in front, clocking in at 9.91 seconds.



Two other Jamaicans, Mario Forythe placed seventh in 10.21 seconds while Lerone Clarke placed eighth in 10.31. The triple Olympic and earth fighter had not competed since he was beaten by Tyson Gay in Stockholm final August, and had to abridged his period succinct because of problems with his back and Achilles' tendon.






Bolt has now beaten Powell in nine of their 10 meets. Powell's only come was in Stockholm in 2008.
