A younger colleague of Blacksburg High School's two-time defending Group AA title-holder golf span is heading to college on scholarship. Brian Langley, a ranking who has skyrocketed from 859th to 46th in the American Junior Golf Association trouper rankings in the years year, has committed to engage in at Virginia Commonwealth University. Langley's major teammate, Courtney Ellenbogen, time past committed to Duke. "VCU was just the location for me," Langley said Thursday.
"I have knowledge of Coach [Matt] Ball honest well. He's a true ace guy. They have a great team, I've got a great scholarship, and I deep down approve of the school." Langley visited VCU on Aug. 8, a broad daylight after he won his premier AJGA federal deed at the Knoxville (Tenn.) Junior Open.
