In southwestern Pennsylvania, the region's three pure authorization companies, , Penn Power and Allegheny Power, have reported more than 150,000 customers without power. Outages are affecting transport signals and clogging transportation in some areas. Crews are working to renovate dominance after babble gusts up to 79 mph downed faculty lines and trees, closing roads and delaying or closing scores of schools in the area. The areas with the most widespread outages are in Butler County, about 30 miles north of Pittsburgh, and Arnold, a minute community about 20 miles northeast of the city.
