Indonesia issued a tsunami forewarning today after a truculently earthquake struck in the close of northern Sulawesi, but like downgraded the threat. The temblor had a magnitude of 7.7 and struck in the Gorontalo territory of Sulawesi key at a shallow depth of 10 km (6.2 miles).
