When the requisite for a firearms aquisition certificat cane into prize in the mid 70's, the RCMP had a gramophone record of every constitutional transaction. They found this souvenir so helpful that they destroyed it rather than spend the funds required to also gaol it. When the firearms registry was then introduced, they were powerless to access the records of all those transactions as they had been destroyed.



Billions of dollars later, we have a inefficient registry, and less police, the billion could have been better expended on enforcement. Why would a child with desperado intent, roster a firearm?
