A female cyclist has been struck and killed in Langley betimes Friday morning. The middle-aged lass was northbound in the 2600 piece of 232 Street when she was hit by a passenger car around 6:30 a.m. The driver remained at the scene.
The cyclist was rushed to sanitarium but died of her injuries. RCMP have 232 Street closed between 16 Ave. and 29B Avenue and will so for the remains of the morning. Police have not yet identified the woman, said Cpl. Holly Marks.
Alcohol or rapidity don't appear to depict a character in this crash, said Marks. 'It's a definitely ill-starred day," she said about the women's cessation and the misadventure that took place. Langley RCMP trade services are currently investigating. Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Services are en path to relieve with the investigation.
