Bob's Burgers Review: Series Premiere Read.

There’s a dysfunctional meanness that Bob has inherited from the great spirited patriarchs that have come before-Fred, Homer, Peter-that seems a spot all in as Bob informs his children how noisome they are at their special jobs. But it’s more of a resigned pessimism than a temper-he reserves his harshest censure for himself. And his ball and chain Linda (relative fledgling John Roberts) plays a dimmer portrayal of Marge bucking up her hubby and holding the house together.

But the creativity comes from Bouchard’s neuroses and Benjamin’s deadpan delivery. Where its Fox neighbors.
