Former Florida football tutor Urban Meyer will be the keynote lecturer at the FGCU Night at the Nest Gala on Dec. 4 at Alico Arena. Meyer had a data of 65-15 and won two BCS championships as Gators coach. His daughter Gigi is a freshman starter on the FGCU volleyball team.
FGCU alums Chicago White Sox pitcher Chris Sale, pitcher Casey Coleman of the Chicago Cubs and PGA Tour pro Derek Lamely will be on hand. The experience also includes a circle of golf Dec. 5 at Miromar Lakes along with a clinic with retired FGCU golf omnibus Jim Suttie.
